The bag itself is one large compartment, and it is foldable, and you can add three divider pads to the hook and loop lining to create four small compartments as needed. The divider pads are removable to create compartments of different sizes. The bag has two areas to add your favorite patches, and there are many molle panels to add small items such as tactical flashlights, tactical knives, etc.
