Custom Paper Cups Buying Guide

Hot Cups

Single-wall paper cups in 8 to 16 oz are the standard hot cup and the cheapest, usually paired with a printed sleeve for heat. Double-wall insulated cups skip the sleeve and feel premium. 12 oz is the most ordered size for coffee, 16 oz for lattes and 20 oz for large drinks. Lids are sold to match.

Cold Cups

Clear PET cold cups in 12 to 24 oz show the drink and print a one-color or full-color logo, and they are the iced coffee, smoothie and soda cup for cafes and events. Frosted plastic cups and disposable party cups cover bars and parties.

Sleeves

A printed cup sleeve is the lowest cost way to brand a cup you already use: a kraft or white sleeve with a one-color or full-color logo that slips over a standard 12 to 20 oz hot cup. Sleeves ship flat and in large quantities.

Compostable and Eco

Plastic-free, compostable and recyclable paper cups with a water-based lining meet the rules in cities that restrict plastic-lined cups. PLA cold cups and paper straws complete an eco set. These cost a little more than standard cups and are ordered by cafes, universities and green events.

Printing and Ordering

Cups print one or two colors as the economical standard and full color on white cups. Supply vector artwork for the sharpest print on a curved cup. Disposable cups are ordered by the case and by the thousand, and the price per cup falls steeply at volume. Stock sizes ship fastest, and custom printed cups are made to order in larger quantities.

How much do custom paper cups cost?

Printed paper hot cups start under $0.20 each in bulk and most sizes land between $0.15 and $0.50 each. Double-wall, compostable and full-color cups cost a little more, and sleeves a few cents each. Request a quote with the size and quantity for an exact price.

What is the minimum order for printed cups?

Printed cups are made in large runs, usually by the thousand, and the price per cup falls steeply at volume. Printed sleeves have lower minimums for a cafe that wants to brand stock cups.

Can you print full color on a paper cup?

Yes. Full-color printing is available on white hot and cold cups. One and two color printing is the economical standard.

Do you offer compostable cups?

Yes. Plastic-free paper cups with a water-based lining and PLA cold cups are available with a printed logo for cafes and events in cities that restrict plastic-lined cups.

Are lids included?
