Custom Towels Buying Guide

Beach Towels

A 30 by 60 inch beach towel is the standard and fits a lounger. Cotton terry and velour towels are the plush, absorbent choice and take an embroidered logo or a one-color print on the velour side. Sublimated microfiber towels print a full-color design edge to edge, dry fast and pack small, which is why resorts and cruise lines favor them. Turkish and peshtemal towels are the lightweight, retail style. Resorts, hotels and gyms order custom bath towels with an embroidered logo.

Golf and Sports Towels

Golf towels are 16 by 25 inches or smaller, in microfiber or waffle weave, with a grommet and a carabiner clip for the bag. They print full color or embroider and are a tournament gift staple. Sports and fitness towels in quick-dry microfiber suit gyms, races and teams. Rally towels at 11 by 17 or 15 by 18 inches print a one-color or full-color design and are thrown by the thousand at stadiums.

Decorating a Towel
